Windows Phone GDR2 Update

The rate Microsoft has been delivering OS update is nothing short of impressive compared to the dark days of the NoDo and Tango updates that took an age to reach devices, and when they did, they occasionally left a device bricked. The "Developer Preview" program has been a master-stroke by Microsoft as it has helped avid users access the latest and best the operating system has to offer. Rumours have it that the GDR2 developer preview update has been marked for October, with a couple of features in tow. According to sources claiming to have access to a functional device running the GDR2 software, the settings menu can finally be sorted alphabetically. Currently the settings menu is a list of settings prioritized the way Microsoft saw best and can be confusing to many users. The source also claims that the Action Center will carry a mobile data toggle and that Cortana will become available to more markets. The update is also set to bring support for Qualcomm's Snapdragon 805 chipset and 2K display resolution support.
